Winter Solabraion Event
This year's 23rd annual WINTER SOLABRATION will be held on Saturday, December 20th, at the Highlands Masonic Center in Denver, located at 3550 N. Federal Blvd. The evening begins with wassail and caroling, juggling, and a special Christmas story by Susan Marie Frontczak, followed by traditional American contra dances for all. This year's Winter Solabration also features a mummer's play, and English sword and Morris dance performances. Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. and end with the mysterious Abbot's Bromley Horn Dance at midnight. Advance tickets are $24 through December 16th, and $32 thereafter. Tickets will be available on-line from Swallow Hill or from Ken Horwege and others. More information is available at wsolstice.org
